Worked with Silicon Valley firms as Test Engineer and Quality Control Specialist. Wrote test procedures, developed test fixtures for R&D applications. Member and past President of San Francisco Section of American Society for Quality. Participated in Delegation of Quality control Specialists to Soviet Union in 1988 for the annual meeting in Moscow of the European Organization for Quality Control. Travel included speaking engagements in Rousse, Bulgaria and Budapest, Hungary.

In 1980 traveled to India, Pakistan, Nepal to visit friends and family and to understand culture. In 1985 traveled to Iran as part of a delegation at the request of Iranian Government to help observe Iraq war results against Iran. In 2001 traveled to Korea as visitor. In 2004 traveled to Lebanon, Jordan and Jerusalem to visit family and study culture and living conditions of the people. In 2006 visited Vietnam to visit friends and experience culture and geography.

Presently associated as a Volunteer with the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, California. This is a museum of modern-day technology showing science and technology of today.

Active Volunteer and Past President of the Volunteer Council at History Museum of San Jose, California, a city owned but privately operated museum of San Jose History.

Former Editor of “The Gate”, a technical newsletter for the San Francisco Section of ASQC.
